Ducati Recall

Ducati is recalling its 2016-2017 Ducati XDiavel motorcycles. The company said the bikes may have an insufficiently tightened final drive pulley retaining nut which may result in a loss of power transmission to the rear wheel, increasing the risk of a crash.

Ducati will notify owners, and dealers will install a new washer under the final drive pulley retaining nut and increase the tightening torque, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin November 7, 2016. Owners may contact Ducati customer service at 1-800-231-6696. Ducati’s number for this recall is RCL-16-003.
